Job Description:
The HES System Improvement Manager will support the Oxy Oman Technical Services Teams in the areas of health, environment, and safety. Drilling, well completions, well maintenance, and production activities, as well as associated equipment, will be the key emphasis in support of Oman’s growth.
Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a HES major relevant to engineering is required.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience reviewing HES Management Systems (HESMS) in order to identify compliance gaps and then implement improvement programs to remedy the gaps.
- Strong understanding of local government rules, OSHA or equivalent, and common oil and gas safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Experience in audit methods and report writing is required.
- Must be able to train and guide others.
- Must be a self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and managerial abilities.
- Have the capacity to communicate with people at various levels of the organization.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
