About Sadara Chemical Company:

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and execute a proactive media relations strategy, PR programms, campaigns and promotional materials by liaising with department Managers to determine their needs.
- Develop and execute a corporate sponsorships/event participation strategy, ensure positive positioning of Sadara in industrial events and manage said participations with input from the Corporate Communications team and other department managers.
- Ensure external messages are consistent across all channels and for different departments of the organization and are aligned with internal messages.
- Handle external response to crisis situations which affect organization perception and reputation.
- Manage and oversee use of Sadara’s social media channels, build and share content as needed, and work with different departments to bolster Sadara’s public image.
- Answer any queries that the general public may request regarding information on company programs in order to project a favorable public image of Sadara. Refer questions to the proper authorities for any specific information request.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on the developed strategy and meet the needs of the corporate and proponents within the company.
Business Expertise:
Preferred experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry and knowledge of and experience of media relations and external communications. Marketing experience is a plus.
Education:
- Essential: Diploma.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in public Relations, Political Science, Law, Business Administration or any related field, or extensive work experience in government affairs field.
Experience:
Minimum of 11 years
