Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Talent and Development Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of talent development strategies within the organization. This key role focuses on cultivating workforce capabilities, driving leadership development, and supporting succession planning to align with GDMO’s long-term strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Collaborate with HR leadership to roll out strategic HR and employee development initiatives
🔹 Create and implement talent management policies and succession planning frameworks
🔹 Work closely with department heads to assess skill gaps and offer targeted training solutions (online, in-person, and on-the-job)
🔹 Oversee and mentor Talent Development Officers, providing both technical and leadership support
🔹 Analyze workforce metrics to enhance productivity and inform decision-making
🔹 Develop programs to identify and accelerate high-potential employees and future leaders
🔹 Manage full lifecycle of internal learning initiatives, including planning, scheduling, and performance tracking
🔹 Organize employee learning in communication, crisis management, consulting skills, and strategic pitching
🔹 Promote cross-departmental skill sharing via mentoring, secondments, and knowledge exchange
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum 8 years of experience in HR or organizational development roles

Minimum 3 years in a leadership or team management capacity

Strong command of training needs analysis, competency frameworks, and learning platforms

Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and project management skills
